The Big 2-5 Pizza and Skating style!

So this was the best birthday ever!!! I know everyone says that but this celebration was just perfect! I don't know how it will be topped next year because I had so many special people with me, who made my day, and I got to party into the weekend (more on that next post). Aaron threw me a birthday party at Me-n-Eds in Clovis for the sole reason of being near Cal Skate, because I really wanted to roller-skate. So this isn't the nicest pizza place in town but we had fun spicing up the old place. So of course I had to enlist my friend Nina of Sugarpalooza. All of the candy bar credit goes to her. She told me the candy to buy and then she took it from there. We also ordered a cake from Frosted Cakery. Which was not only the CUTEST cake but delicious too. We just love them! Check them out in Tower District. Lastly all of our paper goods, and balloons are from Bargain Party. Thank you Stephanie Kachadurian for everything! Now you can enjoy the pictures of my amazing family and friends who laughed, ate, drank, showered me with gifts, and skated into the night. It was the most fun I have had in a long time. Thank you each of you for your love!!!

A special thanks to Sophie who had a hand in all the decor and organizing of the party as she says, "Where would I be without the 'Dictos' girls?" She's right though : )

My grandparents who I am so thankful to have in my life to teach me what a beautiful marriage looks like after so many years.

These five who of course steal the show wherever they go! Love them

After we were stuffed with pizza, cake, and candy it was time for skating. We took off for Cal Skate, formally known as Rollertown growing up, and the dancing and skating fun began. I hadn't been there in years and it looks exactly the same. We had a BLAST skating the night away. Thanks to Christina for snapping a few photos of our silliness. I have to say my sister was the life of the party on the rink! Who knew she was such a good skater but most of all DANCER! This girls dance skills came out at Rollertown and it was hilarious. We laughed so much it hurt. I can't wait to go back!

Aaron and I, thank you for my dream night!

Pre-Birthday Party celebrations!

Last week kicked off my birthday fun with some sweet friends and my thoughtful husband! I got to enjoy a Fresno High baseball game with the Papi's. On Sunday we met the Papi's to see the movie Bridesmaids, which was a little raunchy but also laugh out loud funny through the entire movie! We also enjoyed dinner with them at BJ's and of course had a birthday Pazookie. On Thursday night the girls took me out to Five and spoiled me! Thank you Sophie, Christina, and Annie! You girls were so thoughtful and made me feel so special. I am grateful to have each of you in my life to share, laugh, and love with. This week my husband spoiled me with a few treats and lots of shopping and errand running. Thank you Aaron for all your surprises, and sacrificing a lot of time and effort to make my "birthday season" special!

Aaron surprised me on Monday by driving me to Visalia to visit this place....followed by Pier One and Home Goods. I was in heaven! Mr. Waldrum you amaze me everyday!

I enjoyed a Teazers Tea in between errand running for my party

The night before my birthday my dear friend Lesley took me out to dinner and we enjoyed some birthday margaritas. Thank you Lesley, love our girl talks!

And the fun continues tonight because it's my 25TH BIRTHDAY and we are partying by eating lots of pizza and going ROLLERSKATING! That's right a bunch of adults are hitting the rink. I'm so excited. Off to get ready.....

Country Concert in the Park

Since I can't sleep I'm resorting to late night blogging...Tonight Aaron and I went to the first Woodward Park $5 concert featuring Steel Magnolia. We enjoyed some good old fashion country music and the crisp evening. There were a few good opening acts followed by the cute duet who put on a fun little show. If you haven't heard their music I suggest you check them out, they might be the next big thing!  Before the performers began this is how we entertained ourselves with a little of this...

 And this....
and he's going to kill me...but this too
We got a little silly but truly enjoyed each other's company! Here's to more summer nights of music, concerts, and laughter!

Happy Easter

Our Easter was so enjoyable! We are so grateful for our family and friends and the joy they bring to us! We started the day by visiting the Continos and taking the kids their Easter baskets. Followed by my in-laws house to celebrate with the Waldrums. Then ended our day at my grandparents house with my side of the family. We ate lots of delicious meals and of course tons of desserts. This was my first year not hunting for eggs with my cousins, which was tough letting go but I guess it's time to join the "grown-ups."

Rodeo Weekend!

Rodeo weekend was full of fun festivities. It began by celebrating Carlo's 2nd birthday on Friday night. Then went to the rodeo parade on Saturday morning with the Continos and the Richardsons. Followed by the actual rodeo that afternoon for all the events. We had so much fun enjoying friends, family, great food, and exciting entertainment. We love spending time with this crew. Thank you Continos for inviting us!
