Welcome Home Aaron!

My husband was in the hospital for a week and a half down at USC. I won't go into details, I'll get him on here to share his story one of these days, but he is doing much better, and we want to thank our friends and family for your love, support, and prayers during these tough seasons. On to the fun part! So since he was isolated down in LA I decided to get our dear friends together for a welcome home party at our house. It was so fun!! Aaron and I felt overwhelmed with appreciation and joy that we are so blessed to have such amazing best friends.
While he was gone I got a little crafty and threw together this dessert bar in three days. I went with a black, white, and yellow theme, threw in some burlap and polka dots and there you go. I also made my first banner which was exciting for me because I usually order them on Etsy, so here's my new craft. Since I drove down and back from LA the day of to pick him up we had to keep dinner simple by ordering some Me-N-Eds pizza, and I made a mixed greens strawberry salad, and my sister made a Chinese Chicken Salad. (Thanks sis and mom for your last minute help.) Then for dessert I made Death by Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookies, S'mores, Oreos, and ordered Frosted Cakery's Lemon Cupcakes (Aaron's favorite), and Cookies and Cream. To drink we had lemonade, milk (to dip all the cookies), and iced lemon water.
We enjoyed our company so much and loved staying up late into the night chatting. Thank you, each of you for caring about my husband so much and for your encouragement along the way. God has placed each of you in our lives and we are so thankful he is in control and has amazing plans ahead of us. I'll let the pictures show all the fun we had with our beautiful friends.
