Bachelorette Weekend!

This weekend I traveled down to Newport Beach to meet up with all the fabulous girls that are in Alese's wedding next weekend. I have a few warnings though before you read about all the fun we had....1) There are a ton of pictures because that's what happens when we girls get together (and I didn't even include them all because secret things happen at bachelorette parties)  2) One of my favorite quotes from the weekend pertaining to our beach bodies is, "Things just aren't what they used to be!" Hilarious, and true for some of us who just aren't rockin' it like we did when we were 16 and could eat anything. But we embraced it and hit the beach. And 3) You are going to see how fun our trips are and want to go with us on the next one : )

We started the party Friday night as we all arrived in the evening at The Island Hotel, formally the Four Seasons. It was beautiful! We had a suite that my pictures don't do justice showing how spacious it was. We had two complete bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a kitchen, dinning room, a living room and four balconies. It was fabulous so we could all get ready together, and stay up late chatting (and boy did we!) Friday night we stayed up snacking, and bonding. Saturday morning we got up and went to breakfast in Fashion Island at Pain du Monde. Then grabbed a Starbucks and were off to paddle board. We spent the day paddling around, laying out, reading magazines, and having girl talk. It was wonderful! To top it off the weather was PERFECT, a breezy 75 degrees with the sun out all day. We ate a late lunch at Zinc Cafe in Corona Del Mar, and then went back to the hotel to get ready for our big night out. We had dinner at The Rusty Pelican, and then went out for some dancing after. We danced and sang along to some old school hits, and even got Alese on stage with a tambourine to rock out with the band. So fun! We ended our night back at the hotel with dessert and a lingerie shower. We once again chatted into the wee hours of the morning.

Sunday morning we headed into Laguna and had Breakfast at the Cottage. It was an adorable restaurant and we enjoyed our breakfast on the patio. After breakfast we went back to the hotel put on our suits and enjoyed a few hours by the pool before checking out. Then we hit Fashion Island for some shopping, eating, and of course Sprinkles. Then we said our farewells as we went our separate ways. I had a blast with you girls and can't wait for next weekend to celebrate Alese and Ben's wedding day! Alese thank you for bringing us all together, and letting us spoil you for a weekend you deserve it.  I love you so much but I'll save my tears for Saturday! xoxo
